DNS settings}+{SH.BI.MD.DM.DN.60.02::DNS stands for Domain Name System, which is an information system that holds website information on the Internet. A series of characters used to configure domain-related settings in DNS is collectively called a DNS record. Cafe24 supports A record, CNAME record, MX record, and TXT record. Notes on DNS settings If you directly register/change DNS information, problems such as inability to access the shopping mall may occur, so please change it as carefully as possible. DNS information you set will be reflected after about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Forwarding and connection to illegal sites such as gambling and adult sites cannot be set, and illegal site domain operation may be blocked without notice. How to set by DNS record Host IP (A record) A type of DNS record that directly maps the domain address and the server IP address. Please note that if the IP is changed, the A record must be changed. User can add up to 10 A-records per domain. CNAME record A type of DNS record that maps a domain address to another domain address. By entering an alias for a domain or subdomain, the added alias is linked to the real domain. User can add up to 10 CNAME per domain. MX record This is a record that informs the address of the mail server when sending/receiving mail. Please note that if the MX record is not entered correctly, there will be a problem in sending/receiving mail. User can add up to 5 MX records per domain. TXT record A DNS record used to provide information about a domain by adding a TXT record to the domain you own. It can store arbitrary unformatted text strings. User can add up to 10 TXT records per domain.
